When it comes to Next-Generation Networks (NGNs) currently under deployment everywhere in France according to “Le Plan France Très Haut Débit” (national super-fast broadband plan), a flawless fulfilment of the mission budget commitments implies the stringent compliance with the engineering rules and coverage plans.

A discrepancy may occur at any step over of project lifecycle, causing direct and negative consequences:

  • Increased deadlines in the engineering studies and/or in the network rollout/final connection operations planning.

  • Control of engineering studies on the form (completeness of deliverables, compliance with the data model, etc.) and quality (compliance with regulations, engineering rules, ease of operation in the long term, etc.).
  • Technical and safety inspection
  • Control and in-depth analysis of the records of finished works (DOE), ensuring comprehensive network consistency (geographical coherence, cable ways, equipment layout, operationality and quality)
  • Audit, Testing and Expert Measurements works (optical signal measures) – either for expertise or counter expertise missions – to allow for final acceptance of the executed works
  • Customer satisfaction surveys

 

For the completion of our Control and QSE missions, we rely on solid, turnkey assets:

  • Expert teams in the use of the various measure equipments and in the interpretation of measures
  • State-of-the-art hardware and software solutions (using OTDRs for the measurement work and FIBERCABLE Suite for the measures treatment, interpretation and output (“Cahier de recette”)

    For more than 2 years : Carrying out control operations onsites, fiber network final testings (consisting in an onsite physical & visual control of the deployed infrastructures, in optical continuity with Visual Fault Locators and in optical test measures), counterexpertise (whenever a contradictory analysis is being needed).
    We handle those operations throughout the overall Optical Loop, including the blackhaul, transportation and distributions parts of the network.
